Annual Campaign Offers the Greatest Gift of All: A Fresh Start for Those in Need

Family Health Centers, Inc. (FHC) proudly launches its 2025 “From Your Heart to Our Home” holiday donation drive in support of Phoenix Health Care for the Homeless, located at 712 East Muhammad Ali Boulevard. Each year, the Phoenix program provides Permanent Supportive Housing to 120 formerly homeless individuals, many of whom transition directly from the streets or emergency shelters into stable housing.
This holiday season, FHC is rallying community support to meet a $7,000 fundraising goal through its annual campaign. Donations will help furnish apartments with essential home goods, including cookware, linens, and small furnishings, and provide holiday gift cards to participants in the housing program.
“These donations provide essential items for those moving into our permanent supportive housing program to begin a new chapter in their lives, in a home that the public is helping to create through generosity and care,” said Dr. Andy Patterson, Director of Homeless Services for the Family Health Centers. “This annual drive aims to improve housing quality and dignity by ensuring individuals have the basics they need to start fresh.”
FHC’s Phoenix Health Care for the Homeless program offers comprehensive clinical, psychiatric, dental and social services for people experiencing homelessness, including medical respite, street outreach and permanent supportive housing. Community contributions directly impact the organization’s ability to transform empty apartments into safe, welcoming homes that support long-term stability.
