Rise Above Addiction

Family Health Centers Rise Above Addiction Program provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to help stay drug and alcohol free. Rise Above Addiction provides counseling, psychiatric medication and case management to support your long-term sobriety.

MAT helps individuals who face challenges with opioid use, like painkillers or heroin, and/or alcohol.

• MAT combines medication and counseling.
• Monthly shots can help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
• Counseling will help you manage stress, anxiety and your feelings without using drugs or alcohol.

MAT works best with counseling services and sometimes other medications to help with other mental health conditions like anxiety or depression. FHC offers all of these services as part of our Rise Above Addiction Program.

Rise Above Addiction Program can assist you with:

• Paying for treatment if you need assistance.
• Transportation to and from appointments.
• Case management for services and support for other things you may need help with obtaining.
• Assistance with obtaining free or low-cost health insurance.
