Terri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky and Indiana and transplanted from the Windy City. Her practice has centered around all ages, from early childhood to geriatrics. Terri has certifications in WRAP, SPARCS-I, Nurturing Parenting, Mindfulness Based Substance Use Abuse Treatment for Adolescents, and Trauma Informed Care. Terri is also an EMDRIA Trained EMDR Therapist. Terri has also completed training for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders which means she can help with the ongoing mental health struggles during and after pregnancy.
Modalities utilized include CBT, EMDR, techniques of narrative therapy, Motivational Interviewing, psychoanalytic/psychodynamic, and techniques of play therapy. Terri will ensure flexibility and meet you where you are at therapeutically while providing a safe and accepting environment to help each individual feel secure throughout the process.
Terri has experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship issues, DCBS, and any other life stressors. She believes in a strengths based, person centered approach and working together to create a plan to help you reach your goals.
When Terri is not at work, you most likely will find her traveling or sitting at Chuck e Cheese making memories with her youngest son and granddaughter.
Terri received her Masters of Social Work from Governors State University in 2010 in University Park, IL where she was part of the Kott Scholars Program.
She received her Bachelors of Social Work from Governors State University in 2009 with a Minor in Addiction Studies.
