COVID-19 can be a very serious, sometime fatal condition for anyone. Family Health Centers has been working closely with local, state and federal health officials to get testing, vaccines and protective masks to our patients and community members. Our goal throughout the pandemic has been to create a safe environment for our staff and patients to continue providing needed health care and to provide COVID-19 testing and life-saving vaccines to the medically underserved areas of Louisville.
The COVID-19 vaccines available are based upon years of research and were tested on thousands of people for safety and effectiveness in reducing the severity of COVID-19 illness. Vaccines are the best defense against COVID-19. Anyone six months and older may receive a COVID-19 vaccine and should receive their vaccine as soon as possible.
