Timara has spent the last 5 years specializing in Substance Use Disorders and Addictions, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She currently sees individuals, ages 13 years or older, for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, ADHD, grief, trauma, and PTSD. Timara has lived experience as a person in long term recovery and understands how difficult it can be to reach out and ask for help. She uses a trauma-informed, person centered approach and looks forwards to helping you achieve your goals.
Timara graduated from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work, with her Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW), in 2020. She obtained her Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky in 2022; her Clinical Social Worker license in the state of Indiana in 2022; and her Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Kentucky in 2020. She has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy, Motivational interviewing and is working on getting her Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).
