I am a family medicine physician – I am privileged to have found the career that will allow me to alleviate humanity’s physical illnesses and, in that process, give me a feeling of contentment. Family medicine requires the provider go beyond the medical aspect of the visit and spend time discussing psychosocial issues with the patient – the opportunity for close patient contact and to treat the whole person drew me to family medicine. To listen, to talk to and to counsel patients are imperative for me. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking and staying active. I love spending time with my husband and children.
