I love children; their resilience, their hopefulness, their eagerness to learn. I was drawn to pediatrics because I felt I could learn so much from children and their families and also have the most impact on their future health and wellbeing. I believe children deserve our respect and commitment, that they have the potential to bring much good to our world. I love working at Family Health Centers because I am always learning from a staff that cares for each other and from the rich mix of cultures represented in our patients.

I have loved doing medical missions in Uganda, Nigeria and Sri Lanka. When I am not at work I love to be outdoors, gardening, reading, hiking, singing, participating in my church and in the lives of my children and grandchildren.
