I decided to attend medical school after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History with an interest in Women’s Studies at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. I worked with Volunteers of America as a VISTA volunteer while completing my pre-medical courses. After completing medical school at the University of Louisville, I attended residency in Albuquerque, NM in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
I returned to Louisville after residency to work in private practice in Jeffersoville, IN. I left this job to pursue an OB Hospitalist position at Norton Healthcare. I returned to private practice briefly in Louisville in 2013 before returning to Hospitalist work. I then left this position to begin at Family Health Center in 2018. I am enjoying the return to office work and establishing relationships with my pregnant and nonpregnant patients!
